What are the requirements for renting your property?

We require that all properties be furnished according to the DTCM (Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing) standards and be available for at least 90 calendar days per year. If you want to become one of our homeowners, we can arrange an initial phone consultation with our team. This is followed by a visit to your home and a customized proposal. Once terms are agreed upon and a contract is signed, we schedule a professional photo shoot and blueprint of your home. Registered holiday homes are usually ready to be marketed within a few days, and we can start welcoming guests for your available dates.

Our team will explain how we keep your home safe and secure. This includes strict guest vetting, insurance, and safety requirements. Every home must have a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and other safety equipment, as per the DTCM standards. A third-party (public liability) insurance will also be obtained before renting your property.

At Crown Vacation, we treat your property as if it were our own. We have processes in place to prevent issues, including guest vetting, security deposits, insurance, and physical/photo inventories. We also handle personal check-ins and check-outs for each guest.

We recommend all landlords have an annual maintenance contract (AMC) with a trusted home repair company. This helps avoid unexpected costs while you’re away. If a guest reports an issue, we ensure it’s resolved quickly. Most issues (90%) are resolved without contacting you. For major issues, we’ll contact you to find the best solution.

Landlords can log in online to check bookings (past, current, and future), financial transactions, statistics, payout history, utility payments, and more.
